As a lady living on her own who loves to bake, I’ve had to scale down my recipes pretty substantially to avoid forcing myself to eat all my yield like Bruce Bogtrotter, or wasting a ridiculous amount of food.

That’s when my beautiful little Le Creuset baking dish (pictured on the right) fell from the heavens (HomeSense) and provided me with the perfect little vehicle to use for my single-serve bakes – well, kind of single serve. I’ll usually bake on a Sunday, then have it as my sweet treat after dinner through the week… if it lasts that long. For reference, the dish I use is 14cm x 14cm, and roughly 4cm deep.
