If there’s anything I love more than a cocktail, it’s a seasonal cocktail. There’s an influx of Christmas-themed drinks, valentines drinks, and many cocktails we associate with summer, but autumn or Halloween seem to fall short. Hopefully, these little beverages will help tip the scale!
In a lot of these recipes, I utilise Spiced Syrups that I like to make from scratch. The recipe is super versatile, and can be used to make a huge range of spiced and flavoured syrups for a whole host of functions (including all of the syrups featured in this list).
Without further ado, let’s get drinking 🥂
Spiced Peach Martini 🍑
This is one of my favourites, as I’m a huge fan of vodka and peach schnapps! Without the cinnamon syrup, this is still a lovely drink for any time of year, but this just makes it perfect for autumn 🍂
- 50ml vodka
- 50ml peach schnapps
- 50ml apple juice
- 25ml cinnamon syrup
- Ice
Add everything to a shaker, shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass.
Add a little decoration if you’d like – a cinnamon sugar rim would be particularly apt, or maybe a cinnamon stick if you’ve got some spare!
Pumpkin Spice White Russian
This is basically a dessert in a drink! I can only have one or two of these, and always after dinner.
- 40ml vodka
- 25ml coffee liqueur
- 50ml milk/cream
- 15ml pumpkin spice syrup
- Ice
Shake until cold and serve in a short tumbler.
Pumpkin Spice Martini 🍸
- 40ml vanilla vodka
- 25ml coffee liqueur
- 20ml cream
- 15ml pumpkin spice syrup
- Ice
Shake until cold and serve in a chilled martini glass.
Apple Pie Bourbon Sour
- 50ml bourbon
- 25ml lemon juice
- 20ml apple pie syrup
- Ice
Shake hard and strain over ice. If you have egg white, you could add about 15ml for a gorgeous foamy version.
Apple Pie Mule 🍎
These babies are dangerously drinkable.
- 40ml vodka
- 20ml apple pie syrup
- 15ml lime juice
- 100ml ginger beer
- Ice
Add the vodka, syrup, and lime juice to a glass with ice and stir. Top it off with the ginger beer, and enjoy 💕
Maple Bourbon Sour
- 50ml bourbon
- 25ml lemon juice
- 15ml maple cinnamon syrup
- Ice
Shake and strain over ice.
Maple Cinnamon White Russian
- 40ml vodka
- 25ml coffee liqueur
- 50ml cream/milk
- 15ml maple cinnamon syrup
- Ice
Shake well and serve over ice (original, I know).
Happy Drinking!
I’d love to know if you try any of these out! Personally, I’m a big fan of the martinis, and I don’t mind a mule or a White Russian, but the bourbon sours aren’t my thing. If you come up with any additions or changes, please let me know as I’ve got pretty particular tastes, so would love to see what others prefer!
